Though it's a bit long, I had trouble taking my eyes off it. I was most surprised by the boat traffic that didn't seem to let up even amidst the strongest storming. If you don't have the patience, at least ff to the end to see the lights come up.

I loved typhoon season in Asia. My french brother and I once got caught and caught again in the repeated downpours on a magical day on an island just off of Hong Kong. We cut great big leaves off of elephant ear plants to use as umbrellas.
I miss traveling ... that was a perfect day.
